She was named in honour of our dear Shannon (Hull #1 of the Ontario 32 fleet). We anticipate many years of sailing pleasure aboard SSpirit as we continue our explorations of the Sea of Cortez. We intend to bring her home to BC eventually, so as to resume exploring our own beautiful coastline.
